JUDGE MIKE KRAYNICK
As a third generation Floridian, Judge Mike Kraynick has dedicated his career to serving the citizens of Orange and Osceola counties. Currently, Judge Kraynick is a Circuit Court judge in the Family Division presiding over thousands of domestic violence, paternity, and divorce cases.
Born and raised in South Florida, young Mike learned early on that there is no substitute for hard work. Growing up, he helped care for the family’s country homestead, worked concessions at the local county youth athletic fields, bagged groceries, and held a job on a residential construction site. He also worked his way through both college and law school. Judge Kraynick is blessed to have parents who instilled great core values of family, education, and discipline.
Judge Kraynick’s dedication to service came from these lessons instilled by his parents. Since graduating from Barry University School of Law, here in Orlando, Judge Kraynick has continued to serve as a mock trial coach for the Trial Team program. In addition to acting as a coach, Judge Kraynick oversees and operates the Trial Team program and has done so since August 2012.
Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Kraynick worked his way up from law clerk, to associate, and, finally, to partner in a small law firm in Winter Park. Since the beginning of his legal career, Judge Kraynick’s practice ranged from complex business litigation to construction litigation. His clients were equally diverse, representing individuals, consumers, homeowners, HOAs, small and large businesses, commercial and residential real estate businesses, brokers, tenants, landlords, banks, title companies and others. Having such a broad practice allowed Judge Kraynick to be able to listen to and relate to all types of people from many different walks of life.
Of all the titles Judge Kraynick has held, by far his favorites are husband to Tina, a school teacher, and father to his two children, John and Mark. He enjoys spending time with his family, cooking for his family, scuba diving, and underwater photography.
